  • Aluminum food and beverage containers
  • Ferrous (Iron) and bi-metal cans
  • Plastics containers with recyclable symbols:
    • #1 PETE
    • #2 HDPE
    • #3 PVC
    • #4 LDPE 
    • #5 PP
    • #6 PS

    • #7 OTHER

             Glass food and beverage containers – All colors which are typically clear, brown or green

                              

 

Preparation of Materials

 

All glass containers must be empty and rinse clean. Metal lids from jars are acceptable. Dispose of bottle caps and all plastic tops with regular trash.
 
All aluminum, tin and bi-metal cans, lids included, must be empty and rinse clean. 
 
All aerosol cans must be empty. Remove caps, lids and tops and dispose with regular trash.
 
All plastic containers must be empty and rinse clean. Remove caps, lids and tops and dispose with regular trash.
 
Do Not Accept:
  • Any Plastic w/out #1 through # 7
  • Oversized Plastic Containers
  • Cooking Pots and Pans
  • Flatware / Tools / Piping
  • Syringes and Needles
  • Full Aerosol Cans and Caps
  • Glue Containers
  • Paint cans
  • Thermometers
  • Batteries
  • Vases / Ceramics / Mugs / China
  • Pyrex / Light Bulbs / Mirrors
  • Window Glass / Eye Glasses
